four seasons private residences bengaluru : brand identity

ico, Westcourt and Four Seasons collaborate to set new standards for the luxury market in India's fastest-developing city. Bengaluru will be home to the first combined Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences in India. This is a unique proposition with a distinctive brand identity and innovative marketing media.

Our Solution

The identity reflects the proposition's luxury brand status, and as such, it is designed to work as part of the larger Four Seasons brand. However, as a truly pioneering development, the Bengaluru project has a distinctive look and feel that breaks the mould. Clean lines and a cool colour palette reflect the sophisticated, contemporary design of the development and its urban context. The spacious and restrained approach to layout evokes a sense of space, tranquility and nature, inspired by CityView's gardens and panoramic views. And conscious of the predominantly Indian audience, the identity carefully avoids cultural clichés. Traditional Indian designs have been but reinvented with modern flair to create a decorative pattern device.

The brochure is the definitive collection of information, assets and identity elements, presented in a traditionally-bound format using high-quality materials and print techniques. Finishing touches include a subtle blind debossing of the decorative pattern device on both the brochure and its slipcase and a delicate silver foiling of the iconic Four Seasons marque. The brochure design picks up on the theme of privacy and seclusion with the incorporation of short text pages that reveal sumptuous images. The outstanding computer generated visuals capture the subtleties of luxurious interior materials and a convincing sense of space, light, tranquility and the verdant environment.

Bengaluru's prominence in the technology industry has led to an emphasis on digital marketing applications. In fact, this is the first international property development to have its own ipad app, available to download from the itunes store. Further applications of the brand identity include the website, a bespoke gift collection and press advertising.
