Royal Armouries Museum : Medieval Exhibition game
The topics covered by our various museums clients always makes for extremely varied work. We were commissioned to design an interactive game for the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds that allowed the public to re-enact a medieval joust.
Our Solution
The work involved interviewing and videoing real life jousters - yes they really do exist! The game is part of a new e-learning strategy that the museum has undertaken. All the work, including the game design, the quirky illustrations and the tricky programming, was undertaken in our studio. Using Flash to simulate 3D motion and animating horses were the real challenges of this project.
