Science Museum : Brought to Life website timeline
The definitive new online resource allowing visitors to explore 2,500 of medical history's most intriguing and significant objects from the Science Museum and Wellcome collections. An interactive timeline was a key part of the project.
Our Solution
The timeline covers 20,000 years of medical invention and discovery; the timescales, the factors and the eras. It’s a comprehensive and multi-layered device that lets the user see individuals and objects in detail, as well as showing them in a broader context.
All of this content is stored in a database from where the timeline can pull all of the data and configuration settings. This enables museum staff to change images and text as required.
